Executive Highlights
Namibian Statistics Agency (NSA) released the inflation numbers for April 2020. The annual inflation rate decreased to 1.6 percent from 4.5 percent recorded in April 2019. This is the lowest inflation recorded since 2005 when inflation printed 0.94% in May and 1.42% in June. On a monthly basis, the inflation decreased to negative 0.3 percent from 0.1 percent recorded in March 2020.
