Impounded Trucks in Zambia

Impounded Trucks in Zambia

31 May 2017
NCCI demands the immediate release of Namibian registered trucks impounded in Zambia for transporting Makula Timber. The Zambian Government had outlawed the harvesting and transportation of Makula Timber on Zambian roads. The Chamber urged the Zambian and the other Governments party to the Walvis Bay – Ndola – Lubumbashi Development Corridor Agreement, to strictly adhere to that agreement in order to ensure that the corridor plays its rightful role in the development of trade within SADC.
